Project RED: Rural Education for HIV Awareness

Project RED is at the heart of our mission to spread accurate information and build awareness about HIV/AIDS in some of Ghana’s most underserved and remote communities. Many rural areas still struggle with misconceptions, stigma, and limited access to healthcare, which leads to delayed diagnoses and a lack of proper treatment.

Through this project, we partner with local schools, churches, community leaders, and health centers to deliver culturally sensitive educational workshops in local languages. We conduct community town halls, distribute informational brochures, and engage local radio stations to broaden our reach. Our trained volunteers and educators travel to these areas with HIV testing kits, condoms, and educational materials to ensure community members are empowered with both knowledge and practical tools.

By addressing the root causes of stigma and misinformation, Project RED is helping rural Ghanaians make informed decisions, get tested, and seek treatment without fear or shame.
