Hope & Healing: Psychosocial Support for HIV-Affected Families
Projects
Projects
Living with or being affected by HIV/AIDS can have a profound emotional and psychological toll, especially in communities where stigma and discrimination are still widespread. The Hope & Healing project provides a safe space for individuals and families to find emotional relief, guidance, and renewed purpose.
Through one-on-one counseling, group therapy sessions, and family support circles, we offer mental health services tailored to the needs of HIV-positive individuals, orphans, caregivers, and loved ones. Our trained social workers and psychologists provide trauma-informed care and help families build coping strategies to manage both the emotional and economic impacts of HIV.
We also run stigma-reduction workshops to educate the wider community, including teachers, employers, and religious leaders, helping create a more inclusive and compassionate environment for those affected. The goal is to break the isolation, restore dignity, and bring healing to those whose lives have been shaken by the epidemic.
